Blog Topic 7: Superhero Powers and Bucket List

Bucket lists seem very new to me. Let's think. First of all, I want to graduate from university and get a job. I want to earn money from what I have learned to pay my parents back because they are investing on my study a lot now. Another thing I want to do in my bucket lists is traveling. I love traveling. I want to go all around the world, especially Paris, London, Korean, and Japan. I hope I could make my dream come true and not be too late to do it. 

As for the superpower, I think I would choose future predictor. It is the superpower that I can know and predict the future, such as what will happen to everyone and me? If I have this superpower, I will protect and save everyone from bad things coming up, especially the date end on 12/21/12.

Wal-Mart workers plan Black Friday walkout

Based on CNNMoney,  the indignation of a group of Wal-Mart workers on the Black Friday week could make an impact on Wal-Mart company. The workers had to stand unfair treatment, and they were retaliated when they spoke out for better salary, fair schedules and affordable health care. Because of this, Wal-Mark workers plan a walkout on Black Friday, and hope that their campaign could have an effect on the world’s largest retail store.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a very meaningful day to me. I spent my day with my relatives and went shopping also. In fact, every table of Americans families presented turkeys that were popular on Thanksgiving day.My aunt cooked a roasted turkey and some other food which were really tasty. She said turkey was one of the traditional food in America; and American celebrated this day to be thankful for God. 
In Vietnam, Thanksgiving is not our traditional day; therefore, we are not celebrate this day as well. When I lived in Vietnam, I have heard about Thanksgiving day and known that it was a very popular day in America. People in a family gather in one house and celebrate. After that, going shopping is a big deal on that day. That is great when we can use money to buy something which are on sale. Really, in American's culture, Thanksgiving is a day to bring members in a family together.   

Blog Topic 5: Halloween

Halloween-my remarkable day ever. Actually, West Hollywood was my visiting on that day. In there, many people wore costume and went down to the street. It was so much fun and interesting event that I had joined before.

One more thing that I still remembered on that day was the Trick-or-Treat. It was so embarrassing me. Before I went to the event in West Hollywood, one little cute boy, who wore a spider-man costume, came to knock my door's house and asked for the Trick-or-Treat. Poorly me and my friends didn't prepare candies, so that we had nothing to give for the little boy. He was kind of upset I saw that. Hix. I didn't think I could forget it. It was so terrible.
